Macy's is celebrating the beauty and culture of Brasil this summer with fashion, food and accessories inspired by the tropical paradise my country is. Thought I'd share this with you guys after having a nice long weekend hanging out with my friends in Canada as I get ready to go back home to my Brasil!

It's been nice around here for the past few days and that just makes me wish for summer to come faster.
I miss my summer messy hair, my sun kissed summer skin, beach bodies and wearing my flip flops everywhere. I want summer NOW!

O tempo tem sido digamos, agradável por aqui nos últimos dias e isso só me faz querer o verão logo.
Eu sinto falta do meu cabelo bagunçado no verão, minha pele bronzeada, "beach bodies" e de usar meus chinelos o tempo todo. Eu quero verão AGORA!

Where do I belong?

This week two of my best friend's had their birthdays, one of them back in Brazil and the other here in Canada. I was able to celebrate with my Canadian friend but not with the Brazilian... next year it will be the opposite, I'll be close to my Brazilian friends but far from the Canadian ones.

Being an exchange student divides us in between two worlds, all of the sudden we have two homes, two of our own countries, two parallel universes which are only connected by ourselves. We will always be missing someone, somewhere, something that in our minds was supposed to be different. That is the beauty and the challenge of being an exchange student, being only one person and belonging to two different places.

Ok, going back to the grad/prom theme, since everyone is freaking out about it I thought I should also talk about the date's outfit. I mean, no one wants a poorly dressed date right!?!

So these two suits that I saw on Julia Petit's blog are my favorite ones! If I was the one choosing my grad date's (btw, I still don't know who to bring to my grad :s) outfit I would definitely make him wear one of these two stylish suits.

Oi gente! Essas fotos são do Coachella, pra quem não sabe é um festival de música gigantesco que acontece nos EUA. Se você, como eu, está no Hemisfério Norte o verão já está chegando. Maass, se você está no Hemisfério Sul, quem está chegando é o inverno né.

Todo mundo sabe que sendo inverno ou verão dá pra ter estilo. Quando eu voltar pro Brasil em Julho eu quero saber é de aproveitar, quero show, festival e tudo que eu tiver direito já que em Agosto tenho que começar a ralar pra passar no vestibular.

Acho que essas fotos são uma ótima inspiração pra qualquer estação do ano no Hemisfério Sul, pelo menos no Brasil...
